질문 내용 : When a parent’s limitation is clearly phrased in inoffensive language, a child will usually be glad to conform. Yet, sometimes, a child will not keep a rule. What is to be done when a child breaks a stated restriction? The educational process requires that the parent adhere to the role of a kind butreolute adult. In reacting to a child who violates a limit, the parent must not be attracted into a discussion about the fairness of the limit. Neither should the mom or dad give a long explanation for it. It is undsirable that parents explain to a child why he must not hit his sister, beyond saying that “No! People are not for hurting.” or why she must not break the window, beyond saying that “Don’t! Windows are not for breaking.”
