질문 내용 : The results suggest that the rats behaved as though they assumed that if they became sick this must have been caused by something they ate, exposure to noises and lights were not the sorts of thing that could cause sickness
1. if they became sick this must have been.
가정법 과거완료를 사용해야하는 것은 알겠는데요 왜 앞에 부사절에서 if they had became이 쓰이지 않은 거죠??

2. 그 다음으로 주어가 exposure이 되서 동사가 were/sorts가 아니라 was/sort가 와야 하지 않나요?
